Ferrari Sacrificed to Save Boy's Life

A Ferrari F430 was destroyed in Dallas this week after the owner swerved to avoid hitting a boy riding a bicycle. Unfortunately, the Ferrari ended up in Lake Oak dale.

We commend the driver who didn't think twice about sacrificing his Ferrari (and putting his own life in danger) to save a child from injury or even Death. We assume the guy in the water is the tow truck operator. Though if that was my Ferrari I would be in the lake also trying to get it out.

  2. It's funny because that appears to be a relatively narrow residential street. If you're going fast enough on those streets to jump the curb and paying little enough attention that you missed the kid on the bike, you deserve to end up in a lake. note the total lack of tire tracks in the grass and rocks as well as the fact that the road seems mostly straight and has good visibility. Some driver wasn't paying attention and/or was speeding a LOT. Sucks when a beautiful machine is put in the hands of an imbecile.

  3. Geoff, really? REALLY? You play internet detective from some cell phone pictures? You're making assumptions about the entire situation.

Do you know how long it takes to stop from 40mph? Do you know how long it takes for a kid to ride his bike into the road?

Obviously you're much smarter than a guy who can afford a Ferrari though. How is your Ferrari treating you? Dodge any kids lately?

  4. There is a sign in the background that said the speed limit is 30.

  5. Nobody ever drives 5-10 over the posted limit in their Ferrari.
